Discussion for FogBugz Plugin developers

Plugin "App Store" Listing Customization

Are there plans for any standards by which a plug-in author can control some elements of the way the plug-in is displayed in FogCreek's plug-in download page?

For example, perhaps if there was a standard file name for xml file the described the plug-in and referenced an icon (also in the zip file)?

I'm not at the point with my plug-in where I'd need this yet. Just planning ahead.

I'm not sure which plugin download page you mean.  Are you referring to the plugins page in FogBugz, or the download page for On Demand users, or the plugin's page in the Plugin Exchange?

Ah, never mind, I see you referenced the "App Store" in your title so I assume you're referring to the Plugin Exchange (http://www.fogcreek.com/fogbugz/plugins).

When you upload a plugin you can edit the description text, release notes, and upload screenshots.  Did you need more flexibility than that?
